The DfT & DVSA grant Temporary relaxation of the enforcement of the EU drivers’ hours rules

In response to the exceptional pressures on the freight industry due to the continued consequences of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Department for Transport has introduced a temporary relaxation of the enforcement of the EU drivers’ hours rules in England, Scotland and Wales for the general haulage of goods in Great Britain. Access to France for Passenger Transport and Accompanied Freight from the UK

UK – EU Provisions for Road Haulage; Permit Free till June 2021

On the 10th December 2020, the EU released a set of provisional contingency measures to apply to both international road access and air access for logistical operators in the event of a no-deal Brexit, to take effect as of 1st January 2021. Green Number Plates coming to UK Roads
