On the back of the UK Governments goal to end the sale of new petrol and diesel cars and vans in the UK by 2030, plans have been unveiled today for new Green license plates to start appearing on electric vehicles – with a stated goal of raising awareness of zero-emission vehicles, but also with the promise of local initiatives such as cheaper parking and cost-free entry to zero-emission zones.
